Krystal Alfonso
Research and Development Engineer 1
Krystal Alfonso received her B.A. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008. She is currently working on modeling and analyzing the beta-delayed gamma-rays from neutron induced fission of U235, U238, and Pu239 to identify time-energy regions that could be used to determine isotopic ratios of a mixed sample. This work is geared toward quantifying the amount of Pu239 in spent fuel for nuclear safeguards.
